From Intention to Impact: A Cultural Humility Approach to Safeguarding Black Girls in Education​

 

Co-authored with Joel Dunn. Funded and supported by King’s College London and Impact on Urban Health, building on Milk Honey Bees’ 2023 report See Us, Hear Us. Qualitative research into safeguarding, adultification and racialised vulnerability experienced by Black girls in educational settings, translated into practice recommendations for schools, practitioners and policymakers.

Race Equity in Education Group: A Community-led Exploration of Race Equity in Education

 

Learning partner. Documents the journey of REEG, a cross-sector coalition working on race equity in education systems, capturing what a community-led approach makes possible and what it costs.

 

 

DOCTORAL RESEARCH IN PROGRESS

Funded PhD research at the University of Birmingham, 2025 to 2029, into the educational experiences and transitions of care-experienced young people, with a focus on race, intersectionality and institutional practice.

We also produce qualitative evaluation reports and reflective practice frameworks for clients. These are usually confidential, but we can discuss the approach.
